Highland Offroad provide industrial training to those at the front line using light or heavy industrial, agricultural & forestry vehicles. At Highland Offroad, we have years of cummulative training experience. Further to this we have specialist equipment, varied terrains and classroom facilities.  Our staff and facilities ensure that the best training is offered to our customers.

Our clients have included the M.O.D., Alcan, Voluntary Services Overseas, Tayside Police, Tayside Fire Brigade, Scottish Hydro Electric, Scottish & Southern Energy, TYCO, British Rail Telecom, Perth & Kinross Council, Atholl Estates and Lantra NTO. We are able to offer certification in any of the Lantra courses available. Lantra Awards offers a wide range of quality training programmes, which are only available through a network of quality assured training providers and instructors.

Many of our courses provide both training and assessment, so that at the end of the course you know whether you have reached the Lantra Awards standard. If you are successful you will be awarded a Lantra Awards Certificate of Basic Training and nationally recognised Skill ID card which are valid for 5 years.

Training is now a legal requirement for many businesses. The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) require employers to provide adequate training for employees. The law states that that machinery and vehicles must only be operated by employees who have received appropriate training in their safe use. If you are self employed the regulations still apply. Certification in these areas is becoming increasingly important to meet Health and Safety requirements.
